Hi
my
name is Jordan Shatley and I am from Wilde Elementary school in Michigan.
I am in forth grade and I am an author so I decided to write a story
especially for your website. It's about me one day when I was late for
school all because of my mother who thought there was such a thing like Late
start Wednesday. So here it goes,
LATE START WEDNESDAY
By: Jordan Shatley
"ZzZzZzZzZzZ" I sounded sleeping like a baby one chilly November morning.
"WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP!!!!!!!" My dad said in a rush!
"Huh, What, Huh?!?!" My mom stood clueless about what was happening right
that moment.
I tossed, I turned, I moaned, I groaned. But I still couldn't get why this
was happening.
I finally decided to get my yawns out and find out what was happening.
"IT IS LATE START WEDNESDAY!" My mom howled.
"What is late start Wednesday? My dad questioned "Since you're so sure
that you're right."
"Well it's like late start Monday....... wait..............." My mom paused.
I clicked my remote to guide and stared the time in the eye, or in this
case, the numbers.
It was 8:24am and I was late, late late, late. So I SCREAMED!!!!
"MOM MOM MOM!!! MORGAN MORGAN MORGAN!!!! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!!!!!!
IT'S 8:24AM!!!!!!!!"
I got out of my bed and I dug through my dresser to find clothes. When I
did, I put them on.
I packed my backpack and scanned it making sure I had everything.
I put my shirt on and I zipped it up. Then I put on my coat.
I ran to my living room where I met my sister and mom.
I heard a beep of the car opening and I ran outside and into the car.
I MANAGED TO GET TO SCHOOL, LATE, BUT I GOT TO SCHOOL.
Thank you Jordan!
