When you write a journal observation, you don't need to go someplace, just look around you and write!

Writing something, everyday, can sometimes be a hassle. Sometimes life just seems too busy to be able to sit down and write. But writing is important and something that takes discipline to do.
This morning I got up a bit late because I was very tired from yesterday. I take Qi Kong/Kung Fu classes and worked out at the Kung Fu school last night until about 7:30.
This morning when I got up, I fixed a good breakfast, tidied up my house, practiced piano for two hours and finally got upstairs to work.
I am currently pulling together conference material for March, rebuilding websites, setting up my blog material for the conference and trying to generally get organized.
Writing, today, included pulling together some web pages and writing a couple lesson plans to be used with my videoconferencing. I have already been working for three hours and will probably work another 4-5 hours.
Observations: The color of the sky is a cold, metal blue today with only the reflection from the sun warming through the cloud cover. My office is gently lit from the light coming through the window. It is quiet here, except for the hushed hum of the furnace. It could almost be a day where you really didn't want to work but could sit quietly with a blanket reading.

Today, another long day in the office. I am working on my website and checking contest pages for a writing contest I am judging. What surprised me the most is that these writing students have used lots of plagiarized material from the Internet. I ran some of the suspicious writing through a special checker for this and found the majority of the work was, at the very least, 40% copied from some other source. This is not good and I had to turn the information into the board that directed the contest.
Make sure you do not simply "cut" and "paste" phrases and bits & pieces of information from the Internet. You must read and learn the information and interpret the information into your own words.

Happy Valentines Day everyone! I just realized I have been writing 2010 not 2011 on my journal. I have always said I know more about the past.
In my office working all day and updating my web site for you. On Saturday, I put together a new site for adult writers. It is a little edgy and fun, the site: WritersRules.Weebly.com... For that site I wrote three articles and posted them on Weebly. Sunday, I was lazy and didn't write a thing. Today, I need to finish my conference material and handouts (more writing), post to my blogs (more writing), and try to work on my new book. I LOVE to WRITE!

Write, write, write... I have been working and writing for days. I am writing on my website, my blogs, writing podcast scripts, writing programs for MRA... Write, write write!

Working on and writing podcast scripts for my new ITunes podcast, "For the Writer in You!" Check it out on ITunes. This might see like a simple task but it ended up taking 6 hours, just with the podcast work. Now I have, at least, another three hours for the web site work and corrections.
